Project Details
About this project
Normal shotgun bullets would hurt the birds and other animals that try to eat what people left behind and the animals would normally die or get sick because of the gunpowder in the bullet shells. So Per Cromwell made a bullet that contain an engineered seed. So now when people fire a bullet and the animals that eat the leftovers won't get hurt as bad as they did before. They would now get flowers to eat also. Now you can use these bullets to make your garden pretty and they are mainly used for gardens. The government is planning on doing similar for training bullets.
Who benefits from this project, and how?
The wildlife that eat the leftover bullet material and it helps get more plants so we can get more oxygen from photosynthesis. What's so unique about this project: is that it's a new type of bullet not only that it's a new way to help the ecosystem.
Environmental considerations
The bullet has flower seeds in it so the birds or anything living do not eat the shot because the shot gives them some type of poisoning that makes them sick to death.
What's unique about this project?
The US government is considering something like flower bullets for use in training exercises.
